Foster Fuels is looking for a Vice President (VP) of Marketing to lead our marketing team and build upon Foster Fuels' growing marketing strategies, communications, and initiatives. The VP of Marketing is responsible for the strategic development, execution, and performance of integrated marketing and communication activities that contribute to long-term company success. Providing direct senior management to the Marketing division, this position will ensure the effectiveness of branding, PR, communications, social media, web communications and creative services activities through a results-oriented, data and market-driven approach.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership to the Marketing team, creating an engaging and productive team culture, and provide guidance to the team to ensure corporate objectives and long-term goals are met
  • Defines and executes all marketing strategies including, campaigns, tactics, content, trade shows, billboards, and specific deliverables with a focus on continuing progress in brand development, digital/social marketing, public relations, media relations, and marketing/communications partner development
  • Create, implement, and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
  • Execute tests, collect, and analyze data, and identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Design and review the Marketing department's budget and manage expenditures
  • Collaborate with the creative team, external influences, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of the operation and audience
  • Connect and establish a sustainable, strategic approach to public relations based on added value to media outlets, event managers, and influential journalists
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives, and campaigns
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, measuring effectiveness and business impact
  • Optimize, report on, and monitor marketing automation and lead nurturing processes
  • Research and initiate new ways to engage new markets and reach target buyers
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for senior leadership
  • Management of marketing sponsorship for corporate accounts
  • Identify industry competitors and evaluate their strategies and positions
  • Perform other managerial duties as needed

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing or a related field
  • A high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management
  • Excellent communicator and team builder
  • Technically capable and demonstrated process improvements
  • Comfortable leading other creatives, brainstorming, and developing concepts
  • Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting results
  • Experience with SEO, Google Ads, and web analytics tools

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience in marketing automation software, particularly Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator
