Foster Fuels is in search of an innovative and motivated professional to join our Transport Operations Team. The individual in the Fuels Pricing Coordinator role should be able to perform the duties of assisting our sales and operations team by coordinating with supply channels to optimize pricing and margins on a second shift schedule. This individual would also hold responsibility for predetermining daily billing for management review prior to invoicing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to the dispatchers by reviewing quotations and conducting data analysis
  • Manages product allocation alerts through collaboration with inside sales and dispatchers
  • Generate system based price sheets for dispatch
  • Maintain sensitive customer and confidential company information
  • Processing daily Bill of Ladings for billing
  • Scanning and data entry of Bill of Ladings into Cargas
  • Prioritize tasks each day so that the most important tasks are completed to maximize company profitability
  • Review pricing to sales comparisons tools to identify and communicate needed changes to customer pricing.
  • Regular review and maintenance of customer price quotes
  • Operate on a 2nd Shift schedule

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in a procurement role in a commercial environment
  • Excellent communication skills for drivers and office personnel
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, etc., and other computer systems
  • Strong work ethic, and a pleasant and trustworthy demeanor
  • Possess a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Associates degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance or equivalent industry experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Class A CDL with X endorsements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or similar field

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
